The category leaders — ServiceTitan, Curve Dental, Dentrix — are excellent at what they do, priced for the top 5% of the market, and gated behind $15k–$25k implementations and sales-led evaluations.
Meanwhile, small and mid-size shops (the other 95%) run on a patchwork of Housecall Pro, Jobber, Kickserv, or Eaglesoft plus five spreadsheets and a group chat. Per-user pricing punishes hiring.
